Double Share

“You will be called priests of the Lord, ministers of our God. You will feed on the treasures of the nations and boast in their riches. Instead of shame and dishonour, you will enjoy a double share of honour. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. For I, the Lord, love justice. I hate robbery and wrongdoing. I will faithfully reward my people for their suffering and make an everlasting covenant with them.” (Isaiah 61:6-8)

I keep hearing “double” just now. Double what you have hoped for…. Double what you are believing for…. Double what you are decreeing… Double your hopeful expectations! This is a season of double reward. There is a fresh wave of double being decreed and released right now.

Many have been through a season of difficulty and challenge recently. Many have felt the sting of injustice, pain and suffering. God says He faithfully rewards his people for their suffering.

For many, this past season has brought a sense of shame and dishonour, or a sense of frustration and disheartenment as breakthrough has seemed delayed. This season is about to shift, and shift swiftly. Faithful reward is being distributed and a double share is marked for those who have suffered dishonour and shame whilst honouring the Lord.

Quick turnarounds will surprise many. Justice will prevail. Joy will breakout instead of mourning. Prosperity of soul will rise and hearts flourish as hope returns. Long awaited for promise will manifest. Acceleration is upon you. Things will happen quickly. Hold on to His promises and hold on to His faithfulness, and importantly hold onto Him as things are going to happen quickly. God loves justice and He is bringing a new alignment into your life that will allow for ease of blessing and restitution. Trust Him to lead you right now. This is a “walk by faith” season that requires great courage, but comes with great reward. He is re-positioning so He can re-store. Expect your store-house to be re-filled with more than the enemy tried to take and destroy.

Stay focussed on Him in this season. It is crucial to guard your heart and predominantly focus only on truth. A double share is being poured out despite the loud, defiant shouts of the enemy. “DOUBLE” I hear Him say. A double share belongs to His faithful. Each reward will look different. But each reward will carry new authority “in your land”. You are being upgraded into new authority in your unique realm of influence. You will walk in new anointing to see others enter breakthrough. Take what God is upgrading you into, and confidently release this around you.

There is often a sudden worsening of circumstances before a sudden breakthrough, intended to halt your progress. Be encouraged. This assignment of the enemy to distract and destroy is being counteracted by a now and powerful assignment of the Lord to bring life and breakthrough. The enemy has tried to break you, but instead the Lord of the Breakthrough (2 Sam 5:20) is breaking through on your behalf. Double blessing. There is a release of double in this season.

Look to Jesus and move forward. Distractions will try and keep you stuck in hopelessness. Instead, purposefully hear His voice and strategy right now. As you follow His voice and listen to truth over lies, confusion will break and instead breakthrough will break forth around your life. Expect miracles. Decree deliverance. Seed the pathway to promise with declaration of what God is speaking to you right now, not what voices of hopelessness & destruction are saying. You will be surprised what is about to break out. Double share for His faithful. Keep going faithful ones. Purposefully walk in honour right now. The enemy is trying to trip you up with lies, division and hopelessness. Discard unhealthy thoughts and instead decree promise deliberately until your own heart hears and leaps with hope! Double share breakthrough and reward is yours.

Take a moment. Decree double into your future days. Speak life to your soul! See the breaking forth of reward and welcome this into your “land of influence”. Thank God for your mourning season being swiftly turned into joy as His justice breaks forth. And thank Him for upgraded authority and anointing.

I pray His goodness and comfort surround you today. I pray His healing oil into your heart where you need Him. I pray His peace be your guard. And I decree DOUBLE as your reward and hope.
