RESERVED Resources Are Yours

“But you my friend, you have reserved the most exquisite wine until NOW”  John 2:10 The Passion

EXQUISITE FLOW OF RESERVED PROVISION KEPT FOR NOW
This wine being referred to in the book of John came at the end of the wedding when supplies were running out and the wine was already depleted. The organisers of the event were faced with knowing that the people were still there celebrating but the supplies were drying up and running out. Many are feeling a similar pressure in their lives, being pressed on every side, and fearful of “running out”. I hear the Father saying, “You will not run out”.

AN INVITATION TO SHIFT THE TIME FROM NOT-YET INTO NOW
It was at this point that Mary, Jesus Mum, steps in and tells the servants to do whatever Jesus tells them to do with a full faith expectation that Jesus will solve this. Jesus is reticent to release a public miracle though as it’s not yet His time for this, however the faith of Mary moves His heart and shifts the timeline to NOW! You too can shift the season to NOW with your decrees. There is an invitation to call your not-yet season a “now” season, shifting the timeline in your life from lack to provision, from closed doors to open doors, and from pressed to breakthrough. DECREE is a crucial KEY in this season. DECREE IS THE KEY.

GOD IS RELEASING STRATEGY THAT MAY SEEM FOOLISH AT FIRST
Another key is to keep attentive and focus on Him. God is releasing strategy that may seem foolish at first, such as filling pots and pitchers with water and pouring them out to the master of ceremonies. This took courage as it risked looking stupid, but it was this brave act of radical obedience that led to supernatural provision! The water didn’t turn to wine UNTIL it was poured out. It’s wisdom to note that the first public creative miracle came from simply doing what Jesus said.

FROM PRESSED TO EXQUISITE FLOW
If you are running out, running short and supply is drying up, there is provision for SUDDEN TURNAROUND! Take courage that there is often the greatest pressure right before the greatest breakthrough. Just as with the servers at the wedding, the pathway to provision is to look to Jesus and do whatever He says! Radical obedience shifts seasons.

“RESERVED” RESOURCES KEPT AND SET APART FOR YOU
The sense of running out and being squeezed and pressed on every side is a signal the season is shifting and its time for the “reserved exquisite wine”. “Reserved” can be defined as meaning, “kept or set apart for some particular use or purpose; or kept by special arrangement for some purpose/person”. God has a continuous, steady stream of provision that is “kept and set apart by special arrangement for this purpose” of resourcing and blessing YOU in this very hour! Heaven is not running out or running short. In the same way a seat can be reserved for someone, resources are earmarked for you.

ITS TIME FOR THE RESERVE WINE
Traditionally the idea behind reserve wines is that winemakers would hold back or ‘reserve’ some of their wine from a particularly productive and good tasting vintage. Today, the usual implication of a reserve wine is that it’s a higher quality wine that has been aged longer. A traditionally crafted reserve wine is produced from a good wine that with time, becomes an even better wine. In this same regard, we are entering a season of the exquisite flow that exceeds all that has gone before.

VISION OF THE MASTER CELLOR
I see a vision of a cellar in heaven and the master winemaker is walking the cellar floor and observing his collection. I see this cellar door being opened by the master wine maker and an invitation to enter in. “Its time for the reserve wine to be released” I hear Him say. Its matured and developed, and ready to present. It’s time for the potent reserved wine of Pentecost to flow again.

CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SHIFT FROM RUNNING OUT TO OVERFLOW 
“This was a sign, revealing His glory…” (John 2:11)  Jesus intended this miracle to point us to His Glory and reveal Kingdom revelation of the richness of supply.  Yes, the enemy has tried to hem you in and dry you up, but God is trumping the enemy. God has supplies that the world knows not of and He has prepared and reserved solutions, resources, breakthroughs, joy, ideas and strategies uniquely suited to now. Circumstances will shift from “running out” to “overflow” as an exquisite flow overtakes SUDDENLY on every side and in every sphere. Fear is being evicted and bold, radical faith is rising.

What God is about to pour out will so eclipse the past season in it’s beauty, extravagance and goodness that any sting from past disappointment will be washed away completely. THE RESERVED resources of heaven are being released into the earth and God is turning all things around.

Just as ancient wells are being tapped into afresh, there are outpourings of our collective history that still inspire today and compel us to cry out “do it again”. As we approach Pentecost I see well aged and matured “reserves” that are reaching the tipping point and ready to be poured out. This “brew” is an exquisite fusion of glory past and present, powerfully created to sweep the planet. May our decree be, just as in the first Pentecost, “Come do it again Lord”!
